Installation Instructions YSM2

1. Using a stud finder, locate and mark the two studs to which

the YSM-2 will be installed.

2. Using a nail through the center hole of the wall bracket (A),

temporarily hang the wall bracket on the wall at the install

location. (See Figure 1)

3. Align mounting holes in wall bracket (A) with studs.

4. Mark location of four mounting holes on wall. (See Figure 1)

5. Drill four pilot holes. (See Figure 1)

6. Hold metal channel on anchor (L) flat along side plastic

strips and slide channel through hole. (See Figure 4)

7. Holding plastic straps on anchor (L), pull anchor away from

wall until channel rests flush behind wall making sure

anchor channel is positioned vertically on stud as shown

following figures. (See Figure 5)

8. Slide plastic cap on anchor (L) towards wall until cap flange

is flush with wall. (See Figure 5)

9. Snap off plastic straps on anchor at wall by pushing side to

side, snapping off straps level with flange of plastic cap.

10. Repeat Steps 6 through 9 for each mounting hole.

11. Place wall bracket (A) over anchors and align mounting

holes in wall bracket with holes in anchors. (See Figure 7)

12. Place four flat washers (K) onto four 1/4-20 x 1-3/4" Phillips

pan head screws (J).

13. Insert Phillips pan head screws (J) with flat washer (K)

through mounting holes in wall bracket and into anchor (L)

and tighten until flush against wall bracket. DO NOT

overtighten!

WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO

EQUIPMENT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL

INJURY OR DAMAMGE TO EQUIPMENT! Overtightening

mounting hardware can damage the steel studs. DO NOT
